I've seen photos of zoot suits and in my uneducated eyes, this isn't one of them. They had it right when they said it had been used as a clown suit, it's horrendous.

This surprised me: The trend is driven both by museums flush with funds to fill out their collections... You'd think they'd be able to find a better use for their money.
