Go On... Admit It.... Would you really ?

Post by Oscar Namechange »

Tonight, Mr O's water pump went. No, not his, but the car's.

Stranded on the Ring Road, he rang to tell me and said he had called the RAC and because they would be a while, go ahead and eat.

I grilled a beautiful rump steak and tomato;s and just as I was about to eat It, the phone rang.

I put my plate on top of the worktop but when I came back, my cat was chewing on one corner....

Let's see how many of you would have either:

Thrown It away

Washed It and re-cooked It

Cut the chewed part off and ate It.

Been sick.

Nah, at that point the cat's welcome to it and I'd chalk it down to experience.

I'd make damn'd sure I never left meat out again though.

Yeah, I would have cut the part off and eaten the rest. I'm surprised the cat didn't take the whole thing and run. We used to have a cat that thought he was really slick and he'd reach up his little paw and try to snag the meat with one claw. LMAO, what a character. It worked a lot of the time too if you weren't paying attention.

Well, Yes, i am ashamed to say I cut the bit off and re-cooked It and ate It.

It was a damn fine rump steak and I wasn't wasting It.

If I had no morals, I could have waited until my husband got home and given It to him.

Oscar didn't drag it off because under neath the worktop were 3 dogs waiting patiently for him to do exactly that.

With food prices now-a-days, I would also have cut the chewed part off and ate it.
