I had a friend once who made quite a living being one of the tossee's at a rather popular watering hole there.

This might make me stupider but may I ask someone why anyone would want to toss someone 2 inches shy of 5 feet tall? I'm presuming simply because the person is "much" shorter than them but then again if an NBA player were to do it they'd be brought up on attempted murder in the 1st degree so...

Sadly, little people suffered lack of respect for a very long time in society.
It is only in the last couple of Decades that they have gained any respect.
I went to school with the guy who got the Florida ban passed through the legislature.
He took nothing from any of us Big kids.
It was a lot of work getting that done.
I suspect he is on the front lines to keep the ban.

I'm fairly sure I saw something disreputable about the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand and dwarfs. I'm reluctant to go and find out what it was.
My proposed solution to their financial predicament: every company with seven or more employees[1] must appoint a dwarf to the board of directors with full powers to fire any non-dwarf if the employee dwarf ratio drops below that of the local population. Then we can get back to flinging rolled-up children after drunken binges, the way God intended.
[1] seven being the dwarf master-number since time out of mind.
