Nobodies surprised by this. Your opinions? I think it's best, it's how Russians like things to be done. As little chaos as possible with strong leadership at the top. They've made a lot of progress in the last decade. Nordstream is up and running, ending the turmoil of transporting gas through Belarus and the Ukraine, Southstream is set to start. Life is far better for your average Russian than the '90s. Chechnya is largely quiet.
