I am ashamed..
War is a shameful thing. This always happens in wars, it is perpetrated by all participants. Is it right, justifiable? Were the Russian soldiers who raped and pillaged their way across Germany justified in what they did in so many instances? No they were not but after you have tramped and fought across the graves of millions of your fellow citizens it is almost understandable. What would I have done?
