Yes it worked. I had to click on the "manage attachments" and to upload the file from my computer. But will readers know what to do? A reader must click on the name of the attached file and wait a moment, for the content to be displayed.

I'm pleased to see I was mistaken about the minimum post count needed. Perhaps it's 5.

Either I did something wrong or only pdf files can be attached. It does not matter at this time.
