What a totally unexpected shock. She brightened the tv screen for decades, there will be millions lifting a glass to her memory this week and remembering her performances for the rest of their lives.

Celebrity deaths have become rather meaningless to me over the years, but this one and the death of Natasha Richardson made me very sad.
