Anyone know what kinda Skull this is?

So we were taking out part of the deck out front & we find this scary lookin' thing underneath along with a few bones & dead birds.

My hubby thinks it's a kitten since they used to crawl in the opening - maybe one got stuck.. It's just really freaky looking. :-3

My daughter is gonna take it to school tomorrow for science. She, of course, thinks it's the coolest ever.

I think the eyes are to big for a kitten, maybe a raccoon?
