two shirtlifters and a baby the AA grumpy column

Post by the grumps »

good evening from grumpy towers now i can believe that the world has gone mad.

two shirt lifters get married in a civil ceromony one of which is legally an old age pensioner qualifying for a free bus pass and then in the final insult bring a child into their sordid unnatural relationship this cannot be right.

there are men and women who cannot have children and would be grateful for the chance to have children yet two gay men and i have to word this correctly as i am not allowed to use the terms poofters, botty bandits ,uphill gardeners or words to that effect can bring up a child.

this is civil liberites and gay rights gone mad.

if this is a modern progressive society i give up

AAG

SIR ELTON JOHN wears a beaming smile as he shows off his son for the first time.

The Rocket Man singer and civil partner DAVID FURNISH could not hide their joy as they posed with tiny Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John, born on Christmas Day.

Elton, 63, has revealed he was present at the birth and watched the baby "shoot out".

Speaking at his Los Angeles home, he told OK! magazine: "He shot out like a rocket. There just aren't proper words to describe that feeling. It's indescribable. It was just, 'We have a son'!"

Zachary was mothered by a surrogate, but Elton and 48-year-old David are the youngster's legal parents.

Yet the multi-millionaire rocker emphasised the child would not be spoilt. He added: "I'm ready to have a child and lavish my love on our son and not spoil him."

Elton and David "wed" in 2005 after 12 years together and set their hearts on becoming fathers after a trip to a Ukraine orphanage. The identity of Zachary's biological father remains unknown.

"There just aren't proper words to describe that feeling. It's indescribable."

I would think the surrogate mother may have felt the same way, especially if it "shot out like a rocket." :-2

Who is to say that this particular adopted child would grow up any worse or better than one raised in a totally dysfunctional but heterosexual atmosphere? Or for that matter, even a functional heterosexual atmosphere?

I've rewritten this reply 5 times and every time and every time I stare at, at least an infraction or even a banning.

Make that 6 times

why because i dare to speak openly?

these are two gay men bringing a baby in to something that isnt normal especialy as one of them is an old age pensioner this is a child not the latest gay fashion accessory.

and if you see this as normal i see it as warped.

as to an infraction this would be politicaly correct gagging or a ban then there would be no point to the forum garden because you would have to be carefull what you write in case other members disagree with you and get you banned.

instead of being a site of lively debate it would become a site where members post polite P.C messages to other members.

What do you see wrong, specifically, with a gay couple bringing up a child. A relationship that would bring the child a good caring and loving upbringing. What specifically is wrong with that. Am I to assume that like most other homophobes, you think gay men are paedophiles and should be kept away from children ?

I see nothing in your posts - ever - that can be described as simply "speaking openly". I see, bigotry, prejudice, vile assumptions and much hatred. You don't see much good in anything do you ?

There isn't anything else I can post here. I wish it could have passed by quietly, like most of your threads and drowned at the bottom of the page. Its nothing to do with being politically correct at all. I'm tired of all your "lets all hate, lets all vilify, lets hang them all" bilge

Why, instead of highlighting the issues and discussing the problems - as you have in this post - did you feel the need to couch it in terms of "shirtlifters" having a "sorded unnatural relationship"?

The first is discussion, the way you actually did it is inflamatory - it is not "speaking openly" it is insulting and belittling to any homosexual members we might have and it is certainly discriminatory - and as such bordering on a breach of the ToS.

Actually, I think that Snowfire was talking of the infraction or ban in terms of getting one himself if he said what he wanted to - not of you getting one for being politically incorrect.

At the end of the day, it's not what you say, it's the way that you say it

The article said that they weren't saying but it was thought to be David Furnish.

my ultimate horrifying displeasure with this? Nicole Kidman just described her surragate mother as a .....wait for it ........"gestation carrier". OMFG!!!!!!! Apparently women arent even women anymore they are inatimate objects!!!!!

Someone tell me when did this all happen? that apparently carrying a child is now seen as a scientific term?????? YOu're a nobody!!! you are just part of the factory floor?

I listened to a couple of gays on ABC radio recently and I was horrified ....all was well that they had their child ...I was happy for them ....then they started on about ...how the women in america ..."Just wouldn't get pregnant" like it was some business that wasn't living up to it's final order!!!! This is human beings here dammit!!! So they went off and had the baby in Russia one was present but didn't attend the birth and it was recorded as "she needs her space and privacy ...then the words ick came after that ...holy **** !!! this woman was made out to be a machine and the child by this couples standards and legal bullshit will never know it's mother ...EVER ...they've made sure of it.They payed her off like a prostitute and begone with her .

not happy with this ****!!!!! I thought we left that kind of bullshit back in the seventies!!!
