Now, in addition to some really strange weather throughout the world we have dead birds dropping out of the sky in several locales, dead fish floating to the surface of lakes and streams, and now 200 DEAD COW DEATHS ----

I hope we don't see in future weeks reports of hundreds of unexplained human deaths.

I am surprised not to have read some explanation from the "Doomsday Theorists" or the "Conspiracy Theorists".

I'm not truthbringer but I do believe that it is just a matter of time until some little itty bitty germ comes along and wipes out 3/4 of the human population if not more. But everyone on this board will be dead by then. So party now before the wine gets warm. This stuff happens more than you think. Wine getting warm that is.

Warm wines are fine as long as they are the reds, particularly Cabs, Merlots & Burgundys and of course the sweeter Ports & Muscatels. Any one that would dare to drink these wines chilled should be the first to go when the itty bitty germ comes along. :wah:

Good! I just picked up a nice California Forest Glen Chardonnay 2008 and a 2007 Pinot noir today. But I may just have a cheap white with my cheap chicken in hollandaise sauce with asparagus.

Apparently this kind of thing (mass animal death, not wine thermometers) is fairly common we're just advancing in spreading the news about it.
