I think it is related to those birds and fish die offs in Arkansas.

I think if the site diary records "problematic week for the server" it'll have got it about right. There have been load issues, stability issues, a swarm of (I hope!) completely unrelated spammers showing up on the newbie page. I'm assuming things will improve soon but it's nothing personal.

LOL! I knew it wasn't personal, but thanks for the reassurance. I think it's only happening when I begin a new thread (not 100% sure though), or as Wisey suggested, when loud explosions occur.
