Christmas

Post by Lenn »

Well, there's no Christmas tradition in my family. I'm going to ski all day on Christmas Eve and on boxing day. There are no decorations in my house. Sometimes it seems to me a bit sad, but finally I somehow always come to terms with that. We are different persons, I think.

The outside is decorated. The only thing inside is a tree. I used to decorate every room of the house. I didn't even bake this year. I don't have the energy or ability to stand that long. The shopping is done, the gifts are wrapped. We'll go to a friend's house, then to my sister's where everyone gathers, then to my stepdaughters. Busy, busy day and I want it to be over.

The house is decorated, I am finishing the food shopping in the morning. Just the four of us this year, no trip to see the grandson, hubby broke his foot. I will putter for Christmas-they say it might snow that day.

Can't happen, silly. Your messiah ended our involvement in Iraq. Remember? We were gone after 16 months...just 4 months after he closed Gitmo.

Iraq is the only country in the Middle East? I didn't know that.

What country did you have in mind since we're outta Iraq?
