No eels. Alligator (tastes something like chicken) and squid (think rubberbands), though.

Have you ever been so ill that you lost a couple of weeks of your life from being so-out-of-it and unconscious?

(I lost two weeks of my life like that when I was eight, from a bad tropical flu. I laid down one afternoon while my friends were over and went to sleep. My Mom couldn't wake me up. It was in the 1970's. They were talking on the news about the tropical flu epidemic; you might have heard about it. I've never been so ill in my whole life. I just woke up one day and had no idea where I was or how long I had been sick. My Mom told me that it was about two weeks that I was out-of-it. Of course, the first real meal I wanted to eat was Mac & Cheese.) :)
