Watch Out for Red Monday

This doesn't mean much to you UK folks but Red Monday is where many U.S. bank accounts and credit card accounts will be after following our BLACK FRIDAY.

There were folks in line at the stores last night at 9:45 and the stores didn't open until 3 and 4 in the morning. It was cold last night, here.

These folks are nuts, IMO.

Crazy people! Lines were only big at Walmart and BestBuys here, rest of the stores were not that crowded.

I remember speding a Thanksgiving on Long Island and was amazed when one couple who were guests left at 8.30pm to get to the mall to queue!! Worse still they had no plan what they were going to buy but were prepared to spend plenty if they saw any "Bargains". BTW being a Brit Thanksgiving was the best ever, I could stuff my face and all the other stuff then go back to the UK and do it all over again in the UK at Christmas

It's kind of amusing actually. On Thanksgiving, they count their blessings and appreciate what they do have. Then, all these people make this mad dash to the stores to get a bargain at the crack of dawn.

I have never participated. I have to work.
