Cos its just, well.....nice. There are those tracks that just wash warmingly over you and this is one of them

I listened to one of my favourite albums this morning, Max Romeo's "Open The Iron Gate". He has everything, the voice and the conviction and some great songs. Does anyone else on FG still play his music?

lol. I'm listening to "This Perfect Day" by Hoku. You know, the song from the Cruise commercials. I love happy music, it's hard to have a bad day when you listen to fun music.

I stopped keeping up with new music some time back in about 1985! It's not that I don't like anything new; my favourite new band from last year is one my son played for me.....My Morning Jacket -- these guys could have stepped into a time machine and went back to 1975 and felt right at home!

Well, actually some of their songs on this album are influenced by newer styles, but "I'm Amazed" is still my favourite:

that was used for the mission impossible movie with tom cruise

sandman is probably thier most famous

the memory remains is one of my faves......cant find the original video to it but heres a version with the san francisco symphonic
