Mother of hit-and-run boy, 10, abused outside court by friends of speeding driver who left him to die | Mail Online

I thought I would get this one In quick before my fellow Countryman and old mucker, The Grumps got In before me.

Any-one In Britain will know that yob culture Is the big Issue of the day right now but this one really leaves me fuming.

Is It not bad enough that some scroat mowed down and killed their child of which he was Imprisoned but out-side the court, trying to hold It together with Dignity to give a statement to the press, they were subjected to a barrage of abuse from the yobs 30 strong mates.

Taunts of 'You should have been looking after your kid' were hurled at them.

Surely the Police could have arrested them under that age old law of 'Out-raging public decency'?

My heart goes out to these poor people that bad enough to lose their child but to be subjected to these gross Injustice. Have these scum not got a shred of decency?

That idiot will be freed in just over a year !!! (Normal practice in England to automatically halve the jail sentence, for good behaviour!) - totally inadequate punishment IMO.

For those thugs to shout out, that the parents should have been looking after their kids, is so uncalled for. The boy was 10, his sister was 12 and they were with two other children (probably of similar age), so why shouldn't they be out and about together at that age? I'll bet those yobs were larking about in the street at earlier ages than that poor boy.

It would have been all the same, if the guilty driver had mown down a pensioner, or a blind person, or even just adults going about their business. He was the reckless driver ! I just hope that he has that incident imprinted on his mind for ever.

Thank You for your contribution but would It not have been In better taste to post on the out-rage of which these poor parents have endured rather than trivialise It with your comment?

Let us put It this way then.... Would this happen In the US? And what would happen If It did?

Can we keep this thread on the topic It deserves and not go off about the tourist board?
