im sorry i havent posted for a couple of days but i,ve just been so busy

its all go at grumpy towers you know.

Ed Miliband won the backing of former Labour Prime Minister Gordon Brown and beat brother David to the finish line. But with the Conservatives in second place for the first time in three years can he take the party forward to success for government?

Figures also show the public think the party will lurch to the left under 'Red' Ed's rule. Is this the path to re-election?

on a more serious note liebour have nothing to offer but empty promises and old ideas taken down from the shelf dusted off and repackaged as new ideas.

as i said after the election the tories won hands down but because the majority rule applies they have to team up and form a coilition and they chose the liberals.

but all that aside ed milliband even said that he threw the new labour idea in the bin or did he will the ghost of new labour manifest itself again at some time in the future?.

it,ll take more than fresh faced ed milliband to get labour off the back benches and back in to mainstream politics .

but first mr ed you have got to win the trust of the public.

I do not think Labour Is re-electable however the latest 'yougov' poll puts Labour ahead of the Tory's In the Polls, quite a turn from the 9% lead the Tory's had over Labour pre-election.

I said on this forum long before the election that should the Tory's go ahead with the severe cuts In Policing and public sector jobs, they would be so unpopular by,2015, we would see a Labour landslide and them back In power.

The latest polls show much dis-content at the Lib Dems and It is them losing votes to Labour right now. There Is no purpose to Nick Clegg and the electorate are beginning to see that now.

I really do believe this Is the end of the Lib Dems as It has been seen they are not fit to govern. This will give more votes to the fringe and stealth parties but over-all, I believe Labour will be re-elected purely because the Tory's will be so un-popular at the next General.

Watching the Interview with Paxman last night, I like Ed Milliband.

I like and admire his honesty In being an Atheist, living with his partner and not having his name on his babies birth certificate.

We get very tired of the old school Politician who parades the wife and kids and gets the phot-shoots of them attending church,

His honesty is refreshing and I believe he Is a new wave Politician that the young electorate can Identify with.

I hope he's a success....I don't fancy too long under this present goverment.

as i said before the BNP have some very good ideas about crime and getting the lazy workshy back to work( read their manifesto) however the bnp will never get anywhere with nasty nick griffin at the helm.

their ideas need tweaking to make them workable and they need to include first generation immigrants and their families by that i mean jamacians indians etc from the 60,s and make it a party where your skin colour or origin doesnt matter as long as you are settled british if you see what i mean.

but first griffin has to go before the bnp could be any kind if threat in mainstream politics.
