Nick Clegg is due to acknowledge before the United Nations that

Britain's reputation in the world needs restoring.

Well well, he's just discovered what us UK residents have known for years.

Harrumph.

Restore the reputation at home first.

Restore the reputation, we the citizens, once upon a time were proud of.

Restore the confidence, we the citizens, once upon a time enjoyed in this once great country of ours.

Put the "Great" back into Britain first, restore the country's pride, loyalty, and duty for our sakes.

Perhaps then, Mr Clegg, our reputation will be restored world wide.
