Oh dear! Has the penny dropped? Everybody knew, this would escalate out of control, back in the late 70's, so why didn't the authorities see it too??? The sad thing is, I personally doubt they will do anything about it - well certainly not any time soon, because they won't have the resources.
The trouble is that the police force have cast aside what their main intention, their job description is - to protect life and property !

There are the one's who genuinly want to serve the public as they pledged but then you get one's who do not give a monkey's about the public and the police force to them is nothing more than an exercise for promotion and are purely target driven.
We have Introduced many ways of dealing with yobs that I and many others see as utterly pointless. ASBO's or Anti Social Buffoon orders as we should call them are pointless as we know. Now we have 'Good behaviour contracts' that the little darlings sign at the Police station to say they will behave In future. Then there Is the Restorative Justice system Introduced for victems where the person who has committed the crime Is under 17 years old.
To any-one who has had their lives made a misery by these 'children' they will know they are all useless.
I believe It was Harriden Harmen and her Equalities Commission who rallied against arresting yobs and prosecuting because of the long term effects on the country. If the little darlings ended up with a criminal record, they would be unable to get employment and contribute tax etc to the Country... Little consolation for victems.
