Odie, was that the 'I want to believe" movie? 'Cause I picked it up in the $5 bin and I have to say, I really didn't like it.

I'm watching "The Thing" again. Great show.

That`s the one, but I also followed their entire series, so to me it was outstanding.

Oh gosh I remember `The Thing` Saint, it was great!

Last night I saw a ripper of a movie titled "Beneath Hill 60" which was set in World War 1 and was about the 1st Australian Army Tunnelling Co in the trenches of Europe.

It gave a good insight into the horrors that the diggers had to endure along with the arrogance of the senior command towards the canon fodder.

"Vice" with Michael Madson. A "bad cop" flick. Pretty good. All the main characters got killed.

I went and saw "The Town" with Ben Affleck----------entertaining movie, much violence, excessive profanity, lots of action, bank robberies, well photographed. It's the first movie that I have ever seen in a theater that had CLOSED CAPTION at the bottom of the screen.

"Frozen" I rented it because it looked like an independent studio-type flick. But it was really pretty good! If you like a scary-suspenseful movie, but not blood and schlock, I'd highly recommend it. Very Hitchcockian. Three 20-somethings bribe a ski lift operator to let them go up the mountain one last time after the ski report closes for a week. They get forgotten, the lift stops with them on it, a storm moves in...and the terror ratchets up pretty quickly. creeeeeeepy and desperate. Reminds me of "Deep Water 2".

Saw that the other day, too.

Photography and action sequences are very well done.

I even liked Afleck's acting.

I watched `Let the right one in`. I think it was swedish and about a vampire that makes friends with a 12 year old boy that is bullied. It was dubbed but it was done quite well. I also have watched `shutter island`and Amadeus`, which I had seen years ago.

I was dissapointed with shutter island. Amadeus is a fantastic movie.

(I am stuck inside and can do very little, so for now the TV and pc are my entertainment. It gets old rather quickly, I might add. Only a few more weeks and back to regular schedule!)

Very good movie, Odie. Hachi doesn't die at the end but it's kind of a sad ending. You'll enjoy it if you watch it.

Just got back from watching RED

What a fun flick.

Malkovitch and Willis work well together.

Also Parker does a great job.

Thrills and laughs galore.

One of the most entertaining flicks I have seen all year.

I just saw that a few weeks ago... the scene near the beginning with Willis right after he picked up his sweetie and the other agent hit his car? That's one of the most awesome special effects I've seen recently.

I watched "The Perfect Getaway" a couple of days ago... fun movie but the very BEST part was Timothy Olyphant in a pair of low slung pants and no shirt. Damn, he's pretty.
