Sounds like a perfect day! :-6

I did a bit of shopping and a bit of cooking and a bit of reading (in the bath - that's me multitasking! hehehe :yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl). I've packed away the shopping, emptied and refilled the dishwasher and reminded the other half that it's still leaking as he promised he'd fix it Tuesday. He's now promised to fix it next Tuesday! Hmmm... :wah:

Later I'll do some more cooking, some cleaning, a bit of internetting and some more reading. Later on when the other half has gone to work (he works nights, is currently snoring!) :wah: I will retire to my pad and stretch out like a starfish in the middle of the bed and snore! :wah::wah::wah: When he's working I get to have the whole bed AND I get to keep the covers!!! Woohoo!!! :yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl

It's just been a lazy day, spent chilling. :)

It's taken a long time to wind down this year. Normally the long holiday takes forever to pass but this year I've been wound up and worried about work and it's taken so long to calm down and relax. I saw some of my students today whilst I was out shopping. It was so lovely to see them and chat to them again. :) I've also decided to be proactive about the way I want to work next year. Long story.

Basically I'm just chilling and winding down and being pretty lazy. Hee hee hee :)

Oh that sounds lovely, how old is your baby now?

Went to visit my mom at the nursing home and spent breakfast with my brother and SIL, sat outside on their deck, great atmosphere they have, waterfalls, 7 bird-feeders, just chilled and relaxed.

I am slowly, but surely giving my kitchen a good cleaning. This cast makes my hips and back hurt so I just do a little at a time. Later I have to go pay on a Christmas layaway. After that? Who knows. Probably just relaxing.

Well yesterday was my play day, I spent it at the lake floating around in an innertube with new friends, then ate a wonderful dinner and played videogames and watched movies until the early hours.

Today...is a work day. I'll spend all day grading papers, planning the next week out, and putting up bulletin boards. I guess I could grade papers every day after school, but then It'd seem like I never got home. Besides, I work better in the quiet of the weekend when no one's at school to interrupt me. I can crank up itunes through my classroom stereo and just get some real work done.

Oh...and I like mathematics. I teach it! :D

Christmas layaway? Man you're organized! How's the RA these days Peg? I seem to recall that you and I have the same condition.

I've always said I was going to start early and this year I finally did it. With me being off work for now, I'm sure glad I did! My RA is horrible. My broken leg feels good except for the weight of the cast, but the rest of my body is hurting horribly.

Here, 25km is nothing, we could do it in 20 minutes.

I know how hard your studying, you'll earn the certificate I gave you.:-6

Ah, back to school for teacher's meetings tomorrow. It will be hard to sit still all day long while they talk on and on. But my flute and clarinet are packed, and I shall see what I can squeeze in during lunch time break, if my room starts to shape up.
