I have been watching '30 yrs of An Audience With' on UK TV and have really enjoyed the clips of all the people that have been on the show (except Sooty & Sweep).
2 of my favourites have been Jackie Mason and Joan Rivers....I couldn't stop laughing :yh_rotfl
Take That were good too and had everyone singing along to their hits.

I have caught some of these also Bev but I am sorry to say that I thought they were all crap.... Only being honest.... Hope you do not mind.
My husband was very keen to see Freddie Starr and when he was In his hey day, I loved him and he cracked me up. Watching him all these years later, I could not see what I found so funny about him back then although he Is a damn good singer.
I think comedy wise we have progressed Into the satirical. When I get time for TV I am on Channel Dave most of the time for shows like 'Mock the Week'. I also love Mitchell and Webb.
I am also sorry to say that the only time I have ever switched channels when 'Live at the Apollo' Is on.... was Joan Rivers. I can not stand her. I think she Is vulgar.... Sorry..
