Elections

Post by mrsK »

Australians have to vote in a new Prime Minister on Saturday, 21 August .:-5

Why bother, no one ever lives up to the pre election promises.

I really get angry when the campaigning starts & you see all the pollies holding babies & talking to the oldies. Why can't they do that all year round, not just when they want votes:mad:

Spending millions$$$$$ they don't have:yh_rotfl

I am not a fan of compulsory voting

I am not a fan of voting full stop.
It's nice to be important, but more important to be nice.

That's one of the reasons I don't vote. Plus I'm a conscientious objector. Don't vote ...Protest.

all governments are caretakers of a country. No government will ever bring in any policy to destroy a country. It's my belief that no government can change anything without the world bank, big world business, and the nod from the American government. No government really runs the show, it's a world wide distribution of funds etc . Yes we have our own savings etc but we still have to do business with the rest of the world and constantly please them .

If things really hit the fan in australia watch everyone come out of the woodwork enmass to protest. That's the only way a government gets the picture.

If we don't vote we get fined.

You have to have a pretty good reason not to vote.

Wise decision:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl

I was so full of importance when I turned 18 that I registered.

Bit of rebellion thrown in as well:lips:
