That is not to say they just go deleting threads on the whim, the owner, admins, and owner of this site have a specific Idea of what atmosphere and experience would draw people to the site, and as such they would like to use threads that are examples of that atmosphere and experience people will feel here.

The cause and effect process I can deduct happened is that certain members personal rooms or games were on the afore mentioned hot topic post when the post were taken off the hot topics views and replies to the Rooms and Games declined this in turn made the person who made the thread feel as if there opinion didn't mean as much because their thread wasn't in the limelight. This in my opinion shows a sense of selfishness that such hostile emotions will be aroused just because the removal of one's personal post or game for a post that is deemed by the owner and the people the owner has entrusted to run the site to be a topic that is more of what they want.

I think the communication difficulty is that Odie uses the word "suggested" where other people would use "implied". Once you get that worked out it all makes a bit more sense.
