Walking in Memphis...can't remember who sang it and I might have got the title slightly wrong, but I love the song.

How are the holidays going, Zap?

Great Theia! A lot of people out of work here because of the oil situation and no fishing but they keep on dancin' and a prancin'. I think Louisiana has some of the happiest and friendliest people in the world. And soo polite. They call me Mz. Vickie.

The grand old Duke of York, he had ten thousand men, he marched them up to the top of the hill, then he marched them down again.

There's an awful lot of States in a thread for Cities, that's what I reckon.

My words like silent raindrops fell and echoed in the Wells of silence.
Nullius in verba ... ☎||||||||||| ... To Fate I sue, of other means bereft, the only refuge for the wretched left.
When flower power came along I stood for Human Rights, marched around for peace and freedom, had some nooky every night - we took it serious.
Who has a spare two minutes to play in this month's FG Trivia game! ... My other OS is Slackware.

We sing about places, and we sing about them because of the the feelings associated: MacArthur Park; The Streets of London; Hotel California; Brixton.

To be a Place, somewhere is a "feeling" as well as a "location"????
The crowd: "Yes! We are all individuals!"

Lone voice: "I'm not."
