Loved the 70's. We often bemoan the quality of the bands/artists today, especially the X-factor style of acts. We should look back at the Bay City Rollers and think our selves lucky all thats in the past

YouTube - AC/DC - Thunderstruck None of those. Too middle of the road for me.

I loved the Stones from around the age of 6 when I saw them for the first time on Top of the Pops playing 'The Last Time'. Jumping Jack Flash was the first record I ever bought followed by Honky Tonk Women.

Then one day my bro came home early 70's with an album called Rattus Norvegus and the rest Is history. I have just seen The Stranglers a few nights ago In Bristol.

The Stranglers may be more Indicitive of my political leanings and now I know you listen to jethro tull, I can understand why your a Guardian reader.

BTW...... Did you know It was Mick Jagger who discovered Jethro Tull?

You'll have to sit through a lousey Intro to get to Jethro's appearence but worth It If your a hippy.
