I want to get all my gazing balls and flags put out but can't. By yard work I mean the stuff us women put out to make the place interesting. Men wouldn't be caught dead running around with gazing balls. I like to gaze at balls, do you?

The power does go out a lot due to the fact that there are so many trees near the power lines. That's what happens when you live in a very rural area.

The dogs were fine. As soon as the thunder started, they took their toys into their bedroom. They have sleep crates in their room and they feel safe in their crates. I went to check on them and they had so many toys in their crates that they could barely fit in themselves :wah:

Hope you have all had a good day, and the weather hasn't been too evil. It's been cloudy where I am, and a bit cooler than yesterday, but very pleasant and it has allowed hubby to do some much needed maintenance gardening in our back garden. He did the front the other day. :-6

I've got the flamin election results starting to come in on the TV. 2 results so far, and a 9 1/2 % swing to the Conservatives (largest swing since 1945 apparently!). 3 main parties - Labour (in government at the moment), Conservatives, and the Liberal/Democrats. I think Gordon Brown has already packed his trunk ! :yh_rotfl

Its no better here Jazzy, hail again yesterday in the afternoon, thank goodness all the plants look normal, just wondering how they will do with this cold weather.
