'Illegal' Botox Imitation Paralyzed Patients

A Florida clinic offering cut-price Botox injections was sealed off as a crime scene yesterday after four people were left paralysed by botulism.

Federal agents who searched the Advanced Integrated Medical Centre, a private clinic in Fort Lauderdale, are said to have found paperwork from a pharmaceutical distributor that sells an imitation form of the anti-wrinkle treatment.

The four people at the centre of the scare have suffered muscle and lung paralysis and are being kept alive on hospital ventilators. They include Dr Bach McComb, who runs the clinic, although his licence to work as a doctor was suspended last year.

Maybe it's just me but I fail to see the humor in muscle and lung paralysis or a ventilator keeping a person alive. These people are paying the ultimate price for vanity.

Would you have laughed i wonder Paula if your eyelid surgery had gone wrong???.......thought not!!

And one other thing i tend to wonder about you Paula is, why on earth are all your sentences so disjointed??

my surgeon has worked on other family members, and my cousin has worked there for years, he is safe and reputable? what is a dis-joined sentence, explain...

I do not approve of the current "Paula-bashing". However, reading your replies *is* difficult, as it seems to me that they're invariably confusing (as to what you are replying to, or the meaning of what you say). I have the feeling that what you're trying to say might well be important, if only I could understand it. Perhaps you could try to be a bit clearer and less, hey, like er well you know idiomatic? I don't mind being a punching bag, and i do not feel bashed in the least. Not every person who posts at the forum may be honest? They also feel insulted easily, this paralyzes any conversation.

Legal Intimidation Paralyzes Forum Poster; Peg are you obssessed with how i describe things here in the forum? The Springer Show allows people to go at it, on PUBLIC television, that is legal, acceptable and entertaining, there are other channels to change to. To respond to ill-minded posts only shows the health of another's mind. If you are a bartender, i'm a sure you hear alot, why would my comments be directly harmful to you? If this is the case, you are not a fan of Stern, O'Reilly, Springer, Mad T.V.? Please. :driving:

So...the doctor was suspended last year and still was running a clinic? Did I read that right?

4 people almost dead, because of a doctors mistake? this is something to focus attention to; not the foolishness of what people post on forums., as for discussion, the forum does bring much information about what is going on in the world around us, one good thing about the forum.

Following on from Pegs thread i thought i would also post some of Paulas rantings, the word hypocrite springs to mind!

Yes Paula you are right in saying you can go on the Springer show & "go at it" but i don't think you'd get away with your bigotted, narrow minded snide remarks on that choice show either.

As for "Paula Bashing" i think she can take it, and if she can't then she should'nt dish it!!!
