What Household chore do you hate most?...

I've seen armadillos as far north as Iowa. My daddy says they never used to even see them in southern Oklahoma when he was growing up, 70 years ago. They're migratin. Now you can see them all along the Indain Nation and Will Rogers Turnpikes at the side of the road, dead. Those shells twist open like a can of biscuits. Spiral.

They like ants and grubs and such.

So, if they tear up your garden or yard, it is because you have a lot of bugs they like.

Get rid of the bugs and they will go dig up your neighbors garden.
