I got this idea to cut up all my old clothes and make them new again. Might go out and get an eyelet punch and various hardware, clasps etc to play around with.

I really should try to get a sewing machine first though :wah:

I like hand sewing but this could get intensive.

Did you used to play paperdolls (like I did) when you were a child? I enjoyed drawing my own outfits to cut out for the dolls.

Just saying....................... ;)

CdG, surely.

I'm pretty sure that branch closed early last year.

I don't expect they sold Magnificent Sarees even then.

eta: This started out as an entirely coherent post, being a response to one made by a newbie earlier in the day. It made reference to the second Warsaw branch of a Japanese chain of fashion shops, Comme des Garcons. Zealous moderation has, I fear, orphaned my comment.

I might point out, protectively, that I'll be severely miffed if this post disappears as well.

Sounds therapeutic. I take scissors to quite alot actually. Jeans into shorts, and t-shirts...well lets just say necklines and sleeves no more.

The only thing I can do is cut the long dress to short one, and it turned out not beautiful.

So I give up ideas to reuse my old clothes, it is really exhausting and time-consuming job.
