Oh, that's crazy Cars. My brother and sil are in Siesta Key now and wearing a winter coat. Wonder if I should change my plans. I'm hoping it will be a bit warm in late March

Lovely sunny day here (Midlands UK), the promise that Spring is just around the corner. Cold nights though. Snowdrops are out, and our crocuses are peeping through !

Beginning. We are fast approaching the beginning of the thaw and mud season, sprinkled with rain, then thunderstorms, then tornados. At the same time, snakes and insects will begin to emerge along with weeds and poisinous plants. The quiet will be disturbed by lawnmowers and screaming punk-ass kids on the streets at all hours. Toss in some very hot, humid days leading to wet, smelly and uncomfortable clothes. Spring and summer is close and I hate it.

sounds dreadful and horrifying with snakes and insects everywhere.

It's 35F/2C, wind gusts of 40mph, flooding on the way,and torrential rains this afternoon.

I forgot to put my garbage cans away last night and just found the halfway down to the beach...had to 'wrassle' them home. It was so windy out that I was literally pushed to the ground:(

Naturally all of the sh*t from my neighbor has landed in my yard...soda cans, lawn chairs, cigarette butts and all sorts of other junk has to be picked up by me this pm:rolleyes:

I hope that I don't lose my electricity this pm or have my crawlspace flooded. Glad that I'm home this weekend to check everything.
