A quicj Google shows that there is a very large body of evidence supporting the theory that "glyconutrients" will probably enrich the bank balances of several sorts of "alternative therapist", deplete the bank balances of the gullible and the hopeful, and have little effect on anything else.

Our bodies are amazing. They have the capability to deal with and purge itself of "toxins", obviously, else they'd build up and kill us quickly. That's why it's a waste of time and money to go to a "health farm" and "detoxify". Why, some people at these places have the idea that it's beneficial to stick a tube up your bum and flush it out with water! Extraordinary! I suppose these supplements are expensive to produce... just the thing to dish out at health farms... as at health farms they're *very* careful about what they let you eat, I suppose these glyconutrients get shoved up your bum too??? Probably why Lon says they cause piles, and impotence!
