BBC News - Bill McLaren, the 'voice of rugby', dies aged 86

One of the great sports commentators died today. His excitement was infectious and his skill at describing the action made a lot of difference to viewers.

Awww. There's a voice of my childhood gone. They'll be weeping in the streets of Edinburgh at that one.
