We have a nasty mixture heading this way Wednesday night into Thursday. My daughter has an hour drive to and from school each way. She finishes on the 18th of December so I am hoping it is a false alarm.

Lets all hope that the forcasters stick to being wrong so much so your daughter can have safe travel. :-6

in Barrie where my son and DIL live, an hours drive from here, its one of our snowbelt areas, so they have snow every day.:yh_rotfl

he's out there everyday doing the driveway at 4am before work and he has well over an hours drive, he says he used to it.

for once I can blame the internet tech guys ....bloody idiots . I managed to work the problem out myself .. when the tower blew up, broke down, got wiped, ...whatever! it wrote me off their system. :-5:-5:-5:-5

so if in the future it seems I've spontaniously combusted it's because the tower has disinherited me again.:-5

Yeah, and my mom was supposed to have a doc appointment in the same building and the same time as mine, just one floor under where i go, and they cancelled her appointment yesterday. It's not a big fee, but it still pisses me off.

I'd say something...... she phoned you early this morning to see if you were still coming because of the storm.

She would have called everyone else as well.

She only phoned in hopes that everyone canceled so they could close the office down and go home early.;)

no doctors office phones for a reminder the day of.

nice way to go home early and still collect.

so early this morning I tripped on a towel on the bathroom floor that we use to stand on after our shower...yep, fell backward right into the bathtub. Jacked up my right elbow really bad, i think the only reason I didn't hit my head was because of my ponytail...and of course it is my right arm so i hafta try to do everything left handed and that is not a good thing for me.

i went to the clinic and the doc said something did not feel right so sent me for x-rays. he didn't see anything but is going to have a radiologist look much closer and i should know in a couple of days if i broke anything...if not then it's just a severe bone bruise. what's most fun is i get to wear a sling until it is feeling better. :-5:-5:-5:-5

good grief!

that's the third time in two weeks!:-5

do you need glasses shell?

you may also need an ultrasound as x-rays don't show a lot.

feel better.:-4

i know! isn't it rediculous? i already have glasses. i just dont know what my problem is.

i'm going to wait the couple of days to see what the radiologist says first. during the x-rays they wanted my arm flat and i had to force it straight and i couldn't believe how painful that was. and this typing with only my left hand is getting old really quick! :-5:-5:-5:-5

Not much sleep...last night Cody kept wanting to hump Sophie and he's 100lbs heavier than her, so i had to shut him outta the bedroom and listen to him scratch at the wall and whine most the night.

Gotta go to the pain doc today...I always love hearing "give it some more time" when I've been giving it more time for the past 30 years!

My broken elbow from 2 weeks ago is bothering me less than the ankle I severly sprained the day before Thanksgiving.

Going shopping with my mom later to get oldest daughters Christmas present...I really don't feel like shopping.

Wrapped youngest daughters Christmas presents last night and the more I wrapped, the sadder and more depressed I got knowing that Grant wasn't going to be here this year. :-1

Have you ever tried putting a 150lb dog in the basement that is afraid of the stairs? Pretty much impossible. :-5:-5

The pain doc has all the pills. :-5

Me and mom both have appointments so we're going to meet up when we're done...we're going to an appliance store so it shouldn't be too bad...I hope.
