For employment purposes I have done a lot of different stuff, but what i enjoyed most was sales because it gave me a chance to interact with people non-socially . Being aspie I really like people, but when there is no defined purpose for the interaction I cannot do it comfortably.

What I do for employment presently is own a small carpet cleaning business and thats fine for me in the future too.

What my dream has always been is to be a successful husband and father, and that is exactly what I am. When us aspies make a decision to complete a task we see it through come hell or high water, we will literally die trying.

Did- Almost everything. Farmhand, factory hand, truck driver, taxi driver, rent-a-cop, metal worker, painter, machine operator, construction.

Do- Sit by the fire, sip JD and watch movies.

Would do- If I could regain my youth and better health somehow, I'd join the Army. I never got to do that and that was always my dream.

What I did - bank clerk, partner in funeral directors, owner of tearoom, teddy bear shop, florist

Do now - driving instructor (wife, mother, nanny, town councillor too)

Would do - anything if the money's right! ;):wah:

Ambition since small - abseil from a helicopter, too old and too knackered now but I like to think that I'd do it if the opportunity arose.

Good lord Immie, you sure know how to show a chap a good time.

The Tiger Who Came to Tea, please, with lots of gestures for each "all" when you get that far.

Played electric guitar and sang in a harmony/dance band (great fun !)

Owned (with hubby) a charter/trip boat business on the River Trent.

Am marking time atm in a bit of limbo waiting for traumatic stuff to get sorted, so we can move house.

I intend to write a book, or write a 'soap' about our experiences during our trip boat ownership ! All incidents in this would be genuine, for real occurences. We had good times, bad times, traumatic incidents, and a lot of hard work, but it was one hell of an experience !

What DID you do? I worked at a fast food place; worked in a blueprint shop; was a child care-provider; teacher's aide; taught Sunday school; worked in a sewing factory; worked in a drug store in the film department; served in an army wives organization: and last, but not least, raised three children with ex-hubby.

What DO you do? I am now a Personnel Clerk and enjoying life with Hubby

What WOULD you do?

Just what I'm doing now for as long as possible. ;)
