It's been a nice sunny day today, but cold. Last night the temp. dropped to 3 C !

Winter draws on, which reminds me I must get out my thermal bum bags :wah:

This evening, so far, it has become really scruffy - the wind has gone east and it's raining.

The temp. tonight will fall again to similar depths as last night - I'm so glad we have new central heating in at last! :guitarist

I have never known the weather to be this bad before. Rain and gales, non stop, its starting to grate on my nerves now. Floods are every bloody where.

we are expecting about 10 inches of snow, right now about 1 inch worth is blowing around, it's piled up on the roads pretty good, both hiways north and south of us are littered with car pile ups, part of one main inner city artery is closed down and ya it's 2.5 hours before rush hour, bring on the fun.

Oh ya we are likely going to dip to -25 C for the next few days.

I drive to uni three times a week, takes just under an hour each way, windy little single carriage roads. I seriously cannot remember the last time I made the trip and did not drive through rain, fog and floods.

Yep. Same here in my corner of Iowa. We gonna git hammered. Thank God I'm retired and can sit by the fire and look out the peep hole.

my eye has a sty, quite painful and sore, been soaking it 4x a day.

was worse today as the eyelid is hanging down and has a huge boil-like thing on it.:-5:-5

went back to my optometrist and he said that's normal, it will get worse before it gets better.:-5:-5

can't watch t.v....its all blurry......that's just weird.

I didn't see any blizzard warnings on the weather channel...but with all this snow, you can't be that far from where I am.

Increasing winds tonight will result in considerable blowing and drifting snow and will produce blizzard conditions within the blizzard warning area. In south central minnesota... Including along interstate 90 and interstate 35 south of the twin cities metropolitan area... Zero visibilities are expected at times after 9 pm tonight and through much of wednesday. Northwest winds at 35 to 40 mph could gust as high as 50 mph wednesday morning in south central minnesota. In western wisconsin... Including along interstate 94... Blizzard conditions will occur wednesday when the northwest winds increase to 30 to 35 mph with gusts to near 45 mph. The winds will keep blowing and drifting snow many hours after the snowfall ends. Though persistent blizzard conditions are not expected across the winter storm warning and advisory areas... Very strong winds tonight into wednesday will lead to temporary blizzard conditions... Especially in open areas.

Cold, snowy and gonna be windy. I'm not fussin though 'cause it's winter in Iowa and anyone who lives in the midwest should know to expect that in the winter. I love extreme weather changes. It relieves some of the boredom.

Waaaaaaaaaaay too much snow...can't get out of my driveway and I have a 4x4. Still snowing and could have wind gusts up to 50mph. Hoping a neighbor will take pity on me and plow out my entry way...I swear the plows take all the snow from my street and put it at the end of my driveway! :-5:-5:-5

were lucky here, the snowplough does its thing and pushes it onto our driveways..behind him comes another small plough that takes it out.

oh that would be so nice...here, they just dump it into the end of our driveway and leave it...

we never had it at our first house, everything here goes by how much your home costs, even though everyone pays the same in taxes.
