I just watched the final episode of Monk. It was so sad to see Monk end, but I loved the ending. Poor Monk spent 12 yrs. trying to find his wife's killer and now finds out that she had a daughter. Monk finds the daughter, and all live happily ever after. I like sweet endings at times....
I also miss 6 Feet Under, Sopranos, Deadwood and Ally McBeal ....glad these series are on dvd.

Monk was a one-of-a-kind series. I would go out of my way to watch it.
The ending was kinda sappy, but life goes on. Shaloub did such a great job with the character.
As for the others, Sopranos, I liked a lot. Ally, only watched ally a few times.
6 feet was delightfully whacky, though, got pretty dark after a while.
Deadwood, sorry, but I couldn't get past the language barrier.

I used to tape Sopranos, 6 Feet and Deadwood and watch them on the weekend. Then, I'd be cursing up a storm all weekend
:wah:
I think that Shaloub is a great actor....Loved him also in his bit part as a shopkeeper in Men in Black.

Monk I will miss him but it was time. :-6
Loved "Deadwood" cursing and all. Same with "Soprano's" and "6 Feet Under" three of my all time favorites.
