Hello...New here, although some will recognize me from another Forum. They may or may not be happy to see me here.

I am female. Conservative. A proud member of the NRA and all that entails. Grew up during the 60's and love the music and the cars of that era. I am the proud owner of a gorgeous 66 GTO.

I tried to post a picture of my Goat, but am told I cannot do that until I've made 15 posts. So, will do it as soon as I can.

You were into American Muscle too? Tell me about it.

It was such a huge part of my teen years. All the boys were into cars and we spent many, many hot Summer nights cruising and drag racing. Sweet, sweet times.

That is a beauty. I'd post a picture of mine, but it seems I can't do that until I've reached a certain number of posts. Mine is burgundy. I call it burgundy. Husband says it is Black Cherry. Whatever.

My first car was a '68 Camaro RS/SS 396 that I custom rebuilt myself. It was red originally, but I painted it about the same colour as your GTO.

When I met my husband he was driving a 66 Impala convertible with a 396. Talk about BAD. That car was phenomenal. Only time I ever saw it beat was by a Hemi. The 396 was my favorite engine. We did have an Olds 442 give us a major run one night. I don't know what that guy had done to that engine, but it took everything the 396 had to beat him. The Hemi dusted our drawers, but we knew it would.

My car was pretty damn fast... 375 hp and lightweight. Those hemis are badass... I had a buddy that had a '67 Barracuda.
