Most of us have had embarassing moments - what is yours ?

I remember when I was helping my father in his shop (a chemist shop), and was serving customers, when one of the local haristocracy came into the shop and asked for some 'chuckle biscuits'................................. The only thing I could think of was Ovaltine Chuckle Biscuits, so I went to find some. I was gone for a minute or two, trying to find these blinkin chuckle biscuits.................I found them, eventually, came back into the main shop, but the lady was gone! I asked what had happened, holding up the packet of Ovaltine Chuckles, feeling confused. One of the other girl assistants told me that Lady ~~~~~~~ always came in for charcoal biscuits every other week and she had served her what she wanted, put it on the lady's account and the customer left the shop. Then she laughed, seeing what I had in my hands......................................................................................................................

.......................................... there are times when you wish a hole would appear and swallow you up ! I was leg-pulled about that for many days afterwards....:-5

After my divorce someone introduced me to a nice looking, fun to be around lady. Later in the evening she asked how I felt about being introduced to her. I blurted out that I felt ok about it because usually that person tries to set me up with gals that are too young, too old or have too many kids. She stomped out and I never saw her again.

Then I found out she was 5 years older than I was and had 7 kids. I felt bad because she was a nice gal.

I was at work. A guy was hired to come clean the compressors after years of doing it ourselves. A bar full of customers and I say, "That's what we're doing wrong. We're sucking instead of blowing". The bar got quiet then they started laughing. The poor guy turned red and so did I.

In the years when I could go without a bra, I went to the docs because I had a persistent cough.

Doc;"Lift your top up so that I can listen to your chest"

I lifted my top up for him

Doc;"I meant lift it up at the back"

I nearly died of embarrassment,

God, far too many to post.

One... after being in hospital for some time, I finally got to crawl out of my bed to the main entrance to light a cigg. Many people smiled at me and I thought how lovely they were. Then I realised that my hospital gown was slashed at the back and my naked bum was on full view.

After many years of taking the children to farms as they were obssessed with farm animals, I was looking out the window of a train jouney and said loudly 'OH WOW, LOOK, BABY BAA LAMBS' Only to realise that I had no children with me and I was on the London to Brighton packed comuter express.

I was demonstarting a new leather vibrating massage bed in the middle of Harrods store London. Due to little Interest I fell asleep on it only to wake finding a group of bemused Japanese Tourists taking Photographs of me.

In Harrods Lift, the Attendent asked if we were going down. My friend replied 'No, It's just the way I'm standing.
