Are socks underwear????? Duckie, I think you are seriously straying from the subject of this thread!! Though, I suppose socks could be used in really cold countries to stop frostbite of a bloke's fundamentalisms.

Garter like?? Where did you put garters :yh_rotfl

A sanitary belt, too young to have had to use one but I know my Mum did.

And my granny wore pants that went down to her knees, lacy they were.

This thread made me think of my brother's little boy who was four years old going on forty years old.

It was my brothers birthday and he was about to open his present from his wife who is not known for her imagination when it comes to choosing gifts.

My brother pretended to show a glimmer of excitement and said to young Henry 'oooh i wonder what's in here?'

Henry replied 'Don't get excited daddy, it's pants'.

I just replaced all of mine a few months ago, but... now I'm apparently going to have to replace them again already- not only that, but most of my clothes -I've apparently put on quite a few pounds recently( don't worry... I needed to put on more than a few pounds... which I have and then some!). :wah:

Not to change the subject, but has anyone else ever walked around for half the day upset because the elastic is out on one of the legs of undies you put on that morning... only to discover that it's actually the wasteband you have that leg through...
