Congratulate me!!

Today is my 6th anniversary date that I have been clean and sober from my alcoholism. Not one drop in 6 years...to me, that is a miracle...and I know if I hadn't stopped when I did, I'd probably be dead by now instead of enjoying all my friends here on FG!!!! :-6:-4

Congratulations. Really good job. Pat yourself on the back. Especially considering your frequent visits here. If that doesnt drive you to pick up a bottle then youre in good shape.

its a good job you stopped drinking when you did

i off course have only done five months :-5:-5

but i live in England where everybody drinks you live in the states where every one just has a sniff of drink and thinks they have a drink problem :sneaky::sneaky:

Yeah right...I could have probably drank most of your beer buddies under the table. I drank 56(i wasn't counting, hubby was) bottles of beer in 21hours before going into my last detox.( i blacked out 3 of the 24hrs). I was no lightweight...thank god i quit!!!!

thanks hoppy, and you are so right...the blackouts are scary as hell. There are so many really bad things that can happen. I'm glad to be done with it all. :-6
