I'm Watching Disclosure on Cable

Post by Lon »

I missed this film when it first came out (Michael Douglas) and it started on a Cable station at 6 PM. It will end at 9 PM. A 90 minute film that will run three hours due to the commercials. That leaves 90 minutes to answer emails, pay some bills on line and post to FG. Could this be considered multitasking?:)

Blooming heck. We get 15 minutes in every hour of adverts and that's bad enough. I find myself watching stuff on replay just to avoid the irritation. The BBC has none at all and I hope that never changes

Many people seem to think its impossible for a man to multitask.

I say that if he can walk and breathe, both at the same time, then he's multitasking. :yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl

I want to thank you Lon. Up until I read that your watching Disclosure on Cable, my life was devoid of meaning. I was wondering where my life had gone. I was craving excitement just hoping that some-one would post some monumentous news for me to ponder, reflect and debate with my other half. I have now dis-connected the phones, the tv and put a sign on the door saying 'Do not disturb' while I digest this earth shattering news. In the morning, I shall Phone the Prime Minister and his Cabinet to share the news with him as I'm sure he will agree.... this could have a major Impact on the stabilty of our country should your news be leaked to tabloid reporters. If Indeed leaked to the gutter press, precautions must be taken to stop folk taking to the streets in civil up-rising. Infact, it will be similar to the Protesters of Cable Street during Oswald Mosley's reign of the Fascist movement in England. Small children will cry, the elderly will be confused, dogs will howl and cats will spit. I can see an Emergency Cabinet meeting with our most prominent MP's calling for calm within the British folk.

That'll teach you to ruin my threads.

Woman cannot multi-task. When they are talking so much of their brain capacity is being used that they are actually incapable of doing anything else.

Bollocks. I can drive, put make up on, drink coffee, listen to music and talk on my mobile going up the motor way.

I Sky+ (same as your TIVO) movies all the time now, just so I can zip through the rubbish that breaks up a good film. Then I can have all the time I've saved in one lump at the end.
