When I was in my early 20’s, for about 4 years in a row myself and a number of friends use to rent a cottage for a week at Wasaga beach, I think it was 52 Ave down a bit from the main strip.

Good God, did we ever have fun. The stories I could tell…(if I could only remember half of them..)

When I was a little kid we use to have our summer holidays in Thornberry, the memories I have are great ones.

We (my brothers and sisters) would walk from the cottage my parents would rent and head towards the town and walk across an old railway bridge, the other side of the waterfall. It seemed so big to be, and I was always terrified that a train would come.

Sometime my dad would take us into Collingwood for a day, or to a drive in movie, and my mom would always go to Blue Mountain Pottery to get something there.

Beautiful place.

Well the Pottery has closed and gone and Collingwood is a huge tourist area, lots of million dollar homes and condo's, especially being right on the Bay.:)

They are infact building condo's on the waterfront here and the penthouse ones are going for a cheap 2 million!!;)
