It's true.

My apologies in advance, for posting a thread in typical Nomad style, but I felt it appropriate in this case. I suppose this is less of an issue to be posted in the Problems and Solutions section and more an issue of mistaken identity or user error... considering who sent the PM, I'm certain that it was user error. :yh_rotfl

Now the question remains... how interesting was this PM, that was intended for myself, to Nomad who received it... if he even read it... and even more interesting his reaction upon realizing that he wasn't the intended recipient, if he did read it? :-3 I'm not even sure I want to know what was sent, tbh.

The worst I've ever done of this nature is getting multiple MSN Messenger windows mixed up and sending a message intended for another person... but luckily all it did was confuse the unintended recipient. In this case, she didn't tell me what the nature of the PM was or forward it to me upon realizing her error. It's just a good thing that I don't gossip about folks behind their back... too much. :p

That's funny as I have twice recieved pm's meant for other members. They were eye openers and If you pay me enough money, I will spill the contents :yh_rotfl

I might be interested depending upon who these members are! :yh_rotfl

The first messages I've received on this forum that weren't originally intended for my eyes occurred when I first joined, were from moderators and they weren't accidental, by any means. :rolleyes:

Do you suppose Nomad now knows things about you he shouldn't? Or, maybe Nomad now knows more about the author of the pm rather than you....the silly girl. I can't imagine who was so foolish as to send a pm to the wrong person!!

I'm pretty sure that the PM she sent was very entertaining... they always are!

If I weren't already all-too-familiar with how women are, I might be concerned, but... I've learned over the years that it's impossible for women to keep secrets, so... I expect the worst and hope for the best in such cases. Besides, on a few occasions it's worked out in my favor, as it led directly to me hookin' up with a hot sister or roommate after the relationship ended... *ahem*

I meant to say some women... and most certainly not you!

This has happened due to the 'op' hitting the wrong button or pm's at FG are not pm's at all and can randomly land up with anyone?:-3

Nothing like that... just giving Spiderlily a hard time after she told me in a very excited email that she had accidentally sent a PM intended for me to the wrong person by accident. It's funny. Laugh. :p

I know now what this is. Tiger Lilly sent me a pm then was confused when I replied. Didnt even know who she was trying to contact. I think I told her to get drunk then blame everyone at FG for ruining her life. (for a little Sat. night drama)

The thread was merely intended to be in good fun. It was just an innocent accident and we just made light of the situation. That's all. There's nothing wrong with the security of the PM system, either. Good night, folks!
