Yeah Odie, just get the power on from upgrading our service then get hit with a power outage from the weather. :wah: (gotta laugh about it) Spent a few hours outdoors picking up all the branches that broke off the trees too, and hauling them off.

We're suppose to warm up into the 50's next week. Indian summer is on its way! :driving:

Pending Earth Quakes (California you know) and possibility of Mt. Lassen Volcanic Eruption --followed by potential Tsunami that could impact Northern California coastline due to potential Aleutian Island quakes.

Possibility of Severe Wind storm in the Mojave Desert that could obscure evening Star Gazing.

they dress like snowmen where my eldest son lives in Canada, as every year Grande Prairie, Alberta always has snow 3 weeks on the ground before Halloween.

I remember you telling me you had the power off for 2 days and you were lucky to get it back on when your weather then turned cold.

I don't recall weather like this, this early. It's been pretty cool seeing it though. If the power goes out, I always have back up heat. Babe and I cut, split and stacked a ton of wood just before the weather changed.

Yep, limbs all over the yard. Tops of some of the trees came down from the ice on them, since all the leaves haven't come off. Were top heavy and just snapped.

Maybe with the global warming, Canada is gonna stay warmer this winter. :-3

our temps have been around the same as yours, and its way to early for us as well, makes me wonder what kind of a winter is in store....now tonight its -2C but at least it will warm up some this week.

There was no damage to anything to file a claim. Homeowners won't cover tree damage unless it fell on a building.

Temperature about the same here tonight too.

I feel sorry for you guys, with all that bad weather. That's the reason I left Pittsburgh. Soooo, I won't talk about our gorgeous weather--75 daytime--55 night. Of course we have our occasional earthquake to deal with.:-1

It was beautiful here today highs of 19C. Made the most of it and got a nice motorcycle ride in , close to 300 km:):)

We're having a lovely 'end of summer' at the mo. :-6

The weather is warm and sunny, although there's a slight chill in the air first thing in the morning.

Other than than, the days are warm and bright, the sunlight is golden, my days are filled with childrens laughter and life is very pleasant. :-6

Yes weather has been dreary but I guess that's to be expected with winter right around the corner.

I'm doing well and thanks for asking. Been busy remodeling the kitchen and man is that time consuming. :p But in the long run it'll look nicer then what it was.
