A Song of Ice and Fire

Affectionately known as The Cawfee Shop. There's no better place to be than in your own coffee shop discussing "whatever" with friends.

A Song of Ice and Fire

Has anyone read this series by George R.R. Martin? I recently read the first four books. They were so good that I read the series in about a week. I am anxiously awaiting the release of the 5th book. No release date yet. Which peeves me. I wish oh I wish it would come out already.

Just some food for thought. Swallow it or not that's up to you.:lips:

Read the first three (I think) some years ago. Stopped partly because it took so long for each one to come out, and partly because some of his descriptions of eg torture were just stomach-turning. Good writing, but not something I could read for pleasure.

Chung Quo - The Middle Kingdom was the same.
The crowd: "Yes! We are all individuals!"

Lone voice: "I'm not."
