How about getting a little creative with it?

Lane -Asher- 8th son of Jacob in the bible. Was promised a life filled with abundance.

Lane -Keitaro- Japanese in origins, means "blessed"

Lane -Makarios-Greek, "blessed"

Use that little brain of yours and find a name that connects you to him in a special way. Make it a fun experience and really jump into it!

Just my 2 cents...

I thought I'd share that I have finally moved up to maternity clothes. At over six months it is about time and I'm actually lovin how they feel. I found a shop yesterday that sells talls so I'm outta the yoga pants... for now anyways :wah:

I'm gonna post some piccies soon. It's amazing how these clothes make my belly look so much bigger than regular clothes. At least you can tell I'm prego now tho :wah:

And I think I've come up with a name. What do ya'll think of Landon Lewis. Lewis is my papal's middle name and I plan to shorten Landon to Lane. I just can't get away from that first name, I love it!

Knew a lad at School who's surname was Ake. His parents christened him Edward.

There's an old Leicester Tigers player who's surname was Healey. His parents called him Austin.

Both absolutely true. :wah:

Oh - and congratulations!
The crowd: "Yes! We are all individuals!"

Lone voice: "I'm not."

If you're comfortable, that's the main thing. Happy Mummy means a happy baby.

Lane Lewis tends to make me think of Lois Lane.

I know that's why I was leaning towards Landon Lewis instead of Lane Lewis and hoped noone would ask his middle name :wah:

I guess my middle name only appears on official forms, etc. Very few people know my middle name although it's not a case of hiding it from people. My brother-in-law actually prefers to use his middle name rather than his first name. His middle name is the same as mine.:D

I like the name Quinlan, it's really original :-6

I do believe I've settled on Landon Lewis. Lewis is my papal's middle name and I'll probably call the squirt Lane for short. I may toss the spelling around a bit though... I've thought Landyn and then Layne but I'm not sure about that yet.

I just wanted to pop by and say hello. Life has had me fairly busy lately. I've technically got a little over 2 weeks left til Lane is due to arrive but Tuesday I'll find out if my doc wants to go ahead and induce. Keep us in your thoughts please.

Also, please say a prayer for my Nana.. she has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and is going downhill a lot faster than we had anticipated. Her pain meds are only doing so much and it's just awful to see her going thru this and feeling so helpless. It's approaching a year mark of when my great-grandmother, my Nana's mom, passed away last year and being the holidays this is just a really hard time (if there's ever an easy time) to imagine losing another matriarch.

I hope all is well with you guys and hope you remember to count your blessings every day.

Happy (early) Thanksgiving everyone and take care :-4
