Looking for a doll

Post by fuzzywuzzy »

Maltilda .

I had one when i was about 6 . she's about 25 centremetres high or could be smaller.. Dressed always in brown with a little cloth hat. From memory she was dressed in the fashion of circa late 1800's- early1900's (But a childs lower class fashion/lower socio economic fashion.)

It was a popular doll in Australia in the 1970's.

She was soft rubber/plastic and had a distinctive face . You couldn't confuse her with another doll.

I can't even find a reference to her on the entire net.

I'd really appreciate anyone who could find this doll for me . i'm looking to buy . She must be authentic and pedigree ......would very much appreciate original childs doll

She looks like this but unbeknown to the seller here She always wore and apron.
