Sam the Koala died this morning .

Well she was riddled with clymidia even before they rescued her. But she died this morning from complications before surgery and they put her down under anescetic.

A symbol of hope but she did her job in bringing attention to the Koala plight and now she is without further pain.

Oh, that's so sad Mags....I remember the picture of this sweet animal with the firefighter....very sad indeed, but now she's at peace....

very very sad, it was beautiful to see the firefighter take time to give her a drink that she would have so desperately needed.:-4
