Whats are some of your favorite cold drinks in the hot summer?

I love lime Perrier, really really cold and tons of ice.......awesome thirst quencher.....0 calories.

Canada Dry Green Tea Ginger ale

ice tea of course, everything has to do be really really cold......and lots of ice.:guitarist:guitarist

Nothing is as good as fresh squeezed lemonade in the summer. We also make this drink we call "orange stuff". :wah: Tastes like you are drinking an orange push up. Yummy!

Fresh squeezed lemonade is refreshing and very summery.

For those with a wild side try an orange slice in your Sprite.

We make a drink that i call:

The Drink

2 oz Vodka

6 oz Fresca

6 oz Grapefruit Juice, you can use Pink if you like

Also, Fresca and Gin are FAB together!

Ice-cold beer ~ Miller High Life;

Ice water;

Crystal Light Berry Splash.

That's all i can think of...

Whil;e in Africa I was intrduced to the Malawi Shandy. Non alcoholic and very refreshing

In a pint mug one would add a dash of orange cordial (enough as if you were making a pint of squash) - dashes of Angostura bitters. Fill with ice and then pour in equal measures ginger beer and ginger ale to within 2inches of the top - then add lemonade, stir and serve. It has more bite, but is as said very refreshing on a hot sticky day... A great summer cooler.

Otherwise just an ice cold Ginger Beer

Erm, hang on, old top, isn't Angostura Bitters very alcoholic indeed (yes, I know it's only a drop or five), and ginger beer slightly alcoholic, being a fermented drink (did you know that it's quite easy to brew ginger beer up to worthwhile levels of alcohol?) ? So "non-alcoholic" is an imprecise description?

Realistically, your right but traditionally, bitters have been used in soft drinks.The ginger beer bought nowadays is very rarely alcoholic. Your average can of Jamaican ginger beer is certainly non alcoholic

I am drawn to a ginger beer with a worthwhile level of alcahol though. That intrigues me. I've never come across it

I've gotten a bit hooked on the new Lipton Sparking green tea. Berry flavored is my favorite. It's really good and fizzy. Plus, I hear that green tea is good for ya too.

You too can make this stuff. You too can fall off your bicycle on the way to the pub. It doesn't take long to make. It doesn't need to stand and become clear like ordinary beer (in fact, it's better if it doesn't!).

We made shandys here Snowfire. They're lovely on a hot, summer's day.

We mix a light ale....like a Smithwicks or Sam Adams summer ale, some sugar, ginger ale and bit of lemon.

Right now, at this very moment, I would love to be in a smoky bar filled with happy, friendly people. The juke box playing Hank Williams Sr. and a barmaid serving me up a big frosty mug of beer with a shot of JD and a smile.

Fresh ice lemon water, its so refreshing and calorie free, on hot summer days,yes we do get a few of them not above plus 30 Celsius and only for about a week in around mid July. We get about six Months of winter where I live. So when summer arrives we look forward to feeling a bit of heat. To bad we can't trap some of it ,would save on our heating bills. LOL

I like Ice Tea, but last summer was introduced to the frappiccino's (not sure of spelling) and liked those as well.

That is when I use to live in a place that would have summers... here it is still hot tea.
